MERCEDES-BENZ Travego 2006 - 2009 The second generation Travego was introduced by Mercedes-Benz in 2005 - it was actually more of a redeveloping of their 1999 model - and was available with 3 high-deck configurations: Travego (2-axle, 12.14 metres long and up to 15 rows of seats), the Travego M (3-axle, 12.96 metres long and up to 16 rows of seats) and the Travego L (3-axle, 13.99 metres long and up to 17 rows of seats). The coach featured a newly-designed front panel, variable-focus reflector headlamps and a new front bumper. Interesting new features included Continuous Braking Limiter (DBL), Electronic Braking System (EBS), Brake Assist (BA), Acceleration Skid Control (ASR) and Electronic Stability Program (ESP). The third generation Travego - along with its all-new Active Brake Assist system - will be unveiled during the 2008 International Commercial Vehicle Show (IAA).
